Biography
Amusement Parks on Fire are an acclaimed British shoegaze act, led by Michael Feerick. The band has released 3 full lengths to date: a self-titled album in 2005 (on Invada Records, run by Portishead's Geoff Barrow), Out of the Angeles in 2006 (on V2 records and recorded in Sigur Ros' Sundlaugin studios) and Road Eyes (on Filter Records, with guest vocals by Brian Aubert of the Silversun Pickups).
They have established a strong reputation over the past half decade, performing headline tours of UK, Europe and the USA. Additionally, they have been the main support on tours with dEUS, 65daysofstatic, The Psychedelic Furs and the Boxer Rebellion. APOF have also performed on well-known festivals such as Dot to Dot, Berlin Festival (GER), Summer Sonic (Japan), Culture Collide (USA) and SXSW (USA).
